This design features symbolism that is intended to carry the viewers mind through the piece and then back unto themselves.
For example, the balloon dog could be perceived as a hollow fabricated companion. The color of the balloon dog is Baker–Miller pink, which expresses a provision of comfort. The juxtaposition of its fragility adorned by constricting decorative thorns can allude to the dangers of imposed value and oppression through protection. All of this is to say, the viewer will be rewarded by exploring the design with an analyzing eye and reflective mind.
